HOW DO SESSIONs WORK?
I love being versatile for my clients. Some people are more relaxed just getting to be prompted to do things while others prefer to be posed. I will ask you which you would prefer. If a prompted session works best for you, I will guide you through getting the most candid and genuine smiles by asking your family to interact in natural ways. If posed is more your style I will help you guys pose in a way that will come across inviting and effortless. We can even throw a little of both in the mix!
How long are sessions?
It depends, some take 20 minutes and others an hour or more. I really focus on the moments, I want to take the time verse rushing due to time constraints.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in Virginia Beach but travel throughout Virginia and North Carolina. Any location out of a 100 mile radius is subejct to an additional fee to cover my time and travel. Studio sessions are done in the Hampton Roads area.
When will we get our photos?
Typically, you can expect to receive your images back fully edited within 3 weeks of selecting your favorite images. You will receive all of your photos via a client gallery link. First you will receive them lightly edited with watermarks included, you will then be able to mark your favorites and even add on additional images if you want. After you have made your selection, I will fully edit them and send over all of your favorites. They will then be downloadable through a gallery link at full resolution as well as web size perfect for both prints and social media usage. I love black and white so you will receive a variety between color and black and white images, usually of similar poses but not a duplicate image.

How Do Packages Work?
You will select the package that best suits your needs. As of now I have my most popular sessions listed into packages but I can customize anything!
Can we bring our pets?
Most definitely! It is recommended to bring along a friend or family not in the pictures to be able to help with the pet when they are not in the pictures!
What gear do you use?
I work with Canon R body and my trusty RF 35mm MACRO 1.8 STM lens! Every once and awhile I will bust out another lens if the moment calls for it! I do have a selection of lens to choose from based on location and what the photo calls for!
Where in the world did I come up with Anthos?
Anthos (ἄνθος): is a prefix derived from the Ancient Greek meaning “flower or flourishing”. My first name in Ancient Greek means "flower" or ἄνθος, therefore Anthos Photography was born.
